BETWEEN MYTH AND LEGEND
It tells of a young Lady, host of Villa San Giovanni, a winter evening was woken up by cavernose voices and a strange rattle chains, and possible wind, thunder and lightning rumbled menacingly. The fear became terror when they realized only in the big house. Fortunately the authors of the joke finsero to return ahead of schedule. The found trembling and stuttering voice choked: "... help... there are ghosts!" Aside from the jokes among friends, St. John has always had a reputation for joyful and pleasant place. Here Oct. 21, 1944 were celebrating the wedding of Rosaria and Massimo Maggiorani, parents of the owner Augusto, yet there is a drawing with the layout of the tables for the guests. Besides the marriage of two sons Maggiorani, many unions were celebrated in this frame of privileged parties and banquets. The romantic air of this beautiful garden, especially in spring when every bloom explodes, struck the imagination of the director Florestano Vancini, who in 1965 chose as the setting for the success of his film: "The seasons of our love."
